Nowadays, working from home and online schooling became norm which is a big change for both parents and children. Doing household chores makes difficult for us, especially manual dishwashing activity. At first, we are skeptical on using a dishwasher and it might not do its job cleaning the dirty plates. However, at some point in time, we got fed up with the same daily activities and dish washing might you say our 'favorite' routine. So, this is why we decided to add little helper at home to lessen our work. So, which would you think is better between manual dishwashing or using the dishwasher? :P
Before dish washing
We tried to use ECO mode (3 hours) on this moment without prewashing the plates as you can see there are food residues on the plates.
After dish washing
As a result, ECO mode is enough, we inspect and smelled the plates which didn’t have any fishy smell other than the lemon scent of the detergent. ECO mode does have drying process unlike in Rapid mode that the plate is still wet when you get them.
Close up inspection of the plate
Our little washer did its job!, the plate looks cleaned.
Close up inspection of the glass
In order to have a clean and odorless plates and glasses, you'll have to wash the strainer plate for every use and check the salt every 4-5 days that will avoid the unwanted or fishy odors on plates.
Dirtiest plate as of now?
During the review, I think this was the dirtiest plate we had to test with dishwasher using its Rapid Mode which is as long as 30 minutes.
Is 30 minutes, rapid mode sufficient ?
For us, Rapid mode is enough as long you pre-wash the plates meaning you'll soak them in water and removing the residues. If you don't want to do that, ECO mode will do.
